One of the regular readers of the blog emailed to say that WPLG will be updating the design of their site – local10.com – as early as tomorrow! The design will be similar to what WKMG has.

Just looked at it, not that exciting. At least they seem to have updated some of the bios (they mention Jen Herrera’s husband in hers).
Speaking of that, Megan Glaros has been wearing either an engagement or wedding ring for at least the past month (I noticed it when I returned from an out-of-town vacation last month), but there is no mention of a significant other on her bio.
i like the new site. Its nice.

7 is getting one as well, very soon. They were supposed to debut it in June but something must have happened. Hopefully they decided to change the design
Organized Clutter… LOL!! I hope WSVN gets a new design, its too plain and im getting sick and tired of getting my news on such an ugly site. They also need to put pictures up of all of there reporters, like Dereck Hayward, he doesnt have a picture up on the site and they need to figure out a new way to list there reporters like maybe the same arrangement but with a little icon of the reporter on the side, i dont know all I know is that the site is just ugly. Has anyone seen that Travel Channel special on Miami where Belkys Nerey is on? I saw it and it was real nice. Also, there was a movie back in the 80’s where the WSVN Studios came out. I have yet to see it.
brandon: the movie you’re talking about is “the flight of the navigator.” it was back like in 1988 i think. it shows a brief clip of a fake newscast back in the old “newscenter 7” days…
as far as why some reporters dont have pictures…well…they refuse to take them and/or were not available when the pictures were being taken.
bbbb, the movie is actually Mean Season it came out in 1985 its about a journalist that works for the Miami Herald and he writes on Murders and things like that, Andy Garcia is in that movie. But, since you mentioned that, I will be sure to see that movie. Thanks alot bbbb!! =)
