  1. Ahahaha I love number 7! FILE FOOTAGE
    It’s sooo true.

I always notice it whent they are talking about phones or Bellsouth or something and they show people dialing cell phones that must have been made in like 1990. And like mentioned in the list, THE OBESITY STORIES!

  2. A local version of that is when one of the local station does a story concerning American Airlines, and they show file footage of Boeing 727s and DC-10s, neither of which has flown for AA for years!
Or my favorite from my L.A. years where they would mixup Metrolink (the commuter rail, L. A. version of Tri-Rail) with the subway (Red Line) or light rail (Blue Line). Gotta love those clueless producers!

  3. I’ve got three:

    1. When Channel 10 has Laurie Jennigs doing a commercial saying we don’t sensational “Breaking News” unless it truly is, while the next morning, Mark Schumaker is telling the same “Breaking News” story I saw at 11 the night before…. Talk about time standing still…

    2. Seeing the same story “Only on Station A,” “Exclusive on Station B,”, on “Just One Station “C”,
    and “First on Station D”

    3. Every sweeps, seeing how Dwight Lauderdale (or fill in your favorite anchor) handles the same “Your children aren’t safe sex scandal” while trying to look sincere and non-repetitive.

  4. Fashion sense. The lack there of actualy. Ever notice that some people just wear the crapiest gear. Elita Loresca takes the #1 slot with that. Her fashion choices are horrible. But then again by the end of her weather segment she’s fully naked in my mind anyway where we’re doing things to each other I dare not mention here. Ciao!

  5. dono if this has been brought up in past posts but Have you guys noticed that this happends alot of WSVN. When there is a black story they send their black reporters to cover the story but when it hispanic or white it really doesn’t matter.

  6. not always

But all stations do it not just 7.

I wouldn’t send white reporter in a high-crime black area either.

  7. I hate how these so called talents think the public just waits for their comment or their thought on a subject. (I do not say their “take” as it is a stupid-ass way to use the word.)

My comment to those reporters/anchors…who gives a sh*t? Why do you think I care what you think about 1,2,3? Get over yourself. Do you job and cut the crap, oh wait, then SVN would have no show. – except for the lookers, or those who think they are lookers.
