Yesterday on his Facebook page WSVN anchor Craig Stevens announced he inked a contract renewal with the station that will keep him around for a “lonnnnnnnnnnng time”, no specifics but it sounds like we’ll be seeing him for a while more.
Craig Stevens joined WSVN as a reporter in 1992, left in 1997 for WHDH before returning in 1999 as a weekend anchor. He was promoted to main co-anchor at the end of May 2001 when Rick Sanchez left for MSNBC.
He is a great guy. Glad WSVN renewed his contract.
Craig is an asset to WSVN and South Florida. He is not an idle stand by – he is out there for a lot of organizations giving back. That is how it’s done. Thanks Craig!
