WPBF meteorologist Kate Wentzel has left the station, her last day on the air was this past Saturday. Wentzel joined WPBF a second time four years ago after a stint at KEYT, the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, where she was the chief meteorologist. Prior to that she was at WSVN working as the weekend mornings and substitute weather anchor. Wentzel also worked at WPBF from 1998 to 2000 as a producer
I like Kate Wentzel! She is such a wonderful weather anchor. She is curently the meterologist for WTSP 10 News on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Kate use to visit the store I worked at. She is and was the most beautiful lady, I ever met.I wish her the best. I miss her down to earth niceness. I really did not know much about her even though she came in regularly. She is gods blessing and glows and picks a spirit up. Donald Penny
