WFOR anchor Cynthia Demos will not be waking up in the middle of the night to go to work any more, she was just named co-anchor of ‘CBS4 News at 5:30pm’.
Demos was re-assigned to the early evening newscast after former anchor Erika Von Tiehl left for an anchoring job at KYW, the CBS-owned station in Philadelphia. In addition to anchoring alongside Eliott Rodriguez in late afternoons Demos will be the sole anchor of the 10pm newscast on WBFS TV33.
Based on what we’ve seen, our money is on Maribel Rodriguez replacing Cynthia Demos

Poor girl is expecting her first child so it’s not fair to knock on her weight. That being said, she’s only going to be in that anchor chair for a few months before she’s off on maternity leave for a month or so. It’s rough when they keep changing the anchors like that. Makes it hard to know who is staying and who is going!
Does she have one eye in love with her other eye or is she just cross eyed? Doesn’t that make it tough to read the prompter? Can’t see her lasting long.

I have worked with her and she is a f-ing douchebag.
She can’t walk & chew gum at the same time.
I for one don’t care for Cynthia Demos that much unless her and Jorge Estevez are working together.
However I wish her all the best I find her to be professional and fine on the eyes just not my cup of tea.

That’s just a few of the people I like there are many more I am just drawing a blank right now. I don’t dislike Cynthia I just don’t care to watch her on the news unless she is paired with Jorge. I also if you looked did not say one thing bad about her in any way at. So see I can voice my opinion with out being negative or saying nasty comments about the person.
Ok….but you do know 2 of the 5 people you mentioned haven’t been on local news for some time? Martha has been gone for a few years.

Cynthia is great. Smart, hard working, a great voice and willing to help anyone. Good to see the station making smart decisions.

Interesting that you posted that as Maribel was in for Juwan Strader on this morning’s newcast! She looked great. AFAIK, the baby is fine 🙂
