CBS4 will have a special coverage at 7:30pm today and tomorrow at 7pm they’ll have a special of Hurricane 2005 – In the Path of Katrina.
I haven’t watched the others to see if they’re doing anything

Update: Last night around 7:30pm when we watched tv in the living room and channel surfing, I saw Laurie Jennings briefly near what looked like a call center thing set up by WPLG. I think they were having a money raiser/telethon too.

There’s a promo on 7News with Craig and Belkys, that I cought the end of, mentioning something about joining them to raise money. I’ll have to see it again. Wonder if they’ll do something with Habitat For Humanity which 7 is an offiicial sponsor of.
*** Just as typed this they ran the promo “Channel 7 is teaming up with several agencies to speed relief”, and inviting people to log on to wsvn.com for more info or call.

– Kudos to NBC6 they raised $200,000 on Wednesday with their “Spirit of South Florida: Hurricane Drive Relief”

– WFOR – Rob Hanrahan donated $1000 last night during the 6pm news when he was at the call center CBS4 has. They also had a special at 7:30pm “Hurricane Katrina: Crisis and Chaos”
