Scripps is rolling out a new design for its TV station web sites, WPTV is one of nine stations owned by the company. KSHB news director Peggy Phillip tweeted that her station got the new look today, and told me in all 5 stations’ sites were switched today. WPTV’s website will probably happen in the next several days.
The new design features a larger navigation menu at the top, with a monochromatic color scheme (the only colors are coming from the thumbnails and banners) giving the site a much cleaner and de-cluttered feel compared to the previous template which wasn’t bad to start with. Thank god WEWS got a new site. I dont know if anyone saw their old one but damn it was WAAAAy in the past.
