Michael Koolick, a former WFOR fill-in meteorologist and weather producer, was nabbed on alleged prescription drug charges on Wednesday WPTV reports
The arrest affidavit states Koolick visited a Miami doctor and requested Lortab (Acetaminophen & Hydrocodone) but the doctor refused to write the prescription. Koolick then allegedly went to a FedEx Kinko’s where he photocopied his prescription for Ibuprofen and changed it to Lortab. He had allegedly visited a Walgreens in Palm City three times trying to get the prescription filled.
Koolick is charged with one count trying to obtain a controlled substance, four counts of obtaining controlled substance by fraud, and one count of trafficking hydrocodone. He’s being held in Martin County Jail on $75,000 bail.
