KMPH the FOX affiliate in Fresno, California is launching a webcast. At first I thought they’d be producing something long, hence the name “Around the Clock Webcast” but when I read thru the press release it turned out to be just a 5 minute run-of-the-stories type thing. It doesn’t say how often it would be updated, hopefully not just once a day.
This internet thing is taking off at a lot of stations across the US of A. Pretty soon stations are going to have to pitch “Get it first, get it all, get it whenever you want”.
they are an awful station, station group. i wouldn’t be shocked if it’s updated only once a week. crazy that they even have figured out what the internet IS.
