Not what you think
The TV reporter is Michelle Gillen.
The ex-con is Alexander Moskovits.
He alleges fraud and emotional distress because Gillen kept his donated sperm so she can have a baby. But Gillen never intended to have a child just wanted to keep his sperm sample to “keep him in her life”.

Joan Fleschman – Talk of Our Town
A TV reporter and an ex-con spar over sperm
I’ve seen the lawsuit and this is just so ridiculous. This guy is sick. What Joan didn’t mention was that Moskovits is undergoing psychiatric treatment and basically makes a living by suing people (include his own family members). It’s pretty sad that Joan would put out a press release for this guy through her column. Once again, she attempts to destroy the reputation of someone who has done so much for this community.
To Joan Fleischman: Get a life, and stop trying to destroy the lives of others. And please don’t attempt to use this personal dispute to destroy this woman’s professional prestige. It won’t work. People trust you to hear who is marrying who next, nothing more.
To Michele Gillen: Keep doing what you’ve always done. As mentioned in a previous post, you’ve done so much for this community. And unlike Joan, we know you, and trust you. Keep up the good work at CBS 4.
Joan’s column won’t hurt Michele’s reputation — at least no more than blowing up a truck did.
The first blog anonymously posted (probably by Gillen herself or her loyal sycophant assistant) claims that Moskovits is “sick” and makes a living suing people including his own family members. Nothing could be further from the truth. He is a hardworking legal researcher who has done work for the likes of Roy Black, Albert Krieger, and the late civil rights advocate William Kunstler. He even helped Gillen “beat the rap’ in her sexual harassment and racial discrimination case in 1999. The family lawsuit involves a common garden variety dispute between heirs of a large fortune left by Moskovits’ grandparents in Brazil and New York. Moskovits is undergoing psychiatric treatment because of the emotional distress caused by Gillen. She not only duped millions of Dateline NBC primetime viewers by rigging a truck to blow up and damaged NBC’s reputation after getting caught, but she also duped this guy out of his sperm because her large award-winning ego could not handle getting dumped by an “ex-con.”
Apparently, “In the know,” is not really “in the know” because if he or she was he would know that Michele personally had nothing to do with the rigging of the truck, tried to stop NBC from using the crash test footage, and later kept her job with NBC (although she chose to leave for another NBC station) when other producers, photographers, and other NBC executives were forced to resign or were fired. So “In the know” apparently you “know” little about the Network News race, because if you did “know” anything you’d know that Michele got screwed much in the way Dan Rather did–because the correspondent is almost always the last piece of the story puzzle at that level. An no, this is not Michele, or her “loyal sychophant assistant,” whoever the heck that is.
Haha! The fact that this guy has “emotional distress” over sperm is hilarious! I thought I heard on the radio the other night that the stuff was still at a clinic, unused. Why doesn’t he just pick it up? This guy seems a little nutty to me. I’m going to have to side with Michele.
