Victor Blackwell joined WPBF on July 22nd as the station’s new lead co-anchor of the weekday evening newscasts alongside Tiffany Kenney. Blackwell comes to WPBF from WTLV/WJXX, the NBC/ABC duopoly in Jacksonville, where he anchored the weekend morning and evening newscasts and reported during the week.
Blackwell replaces long-time anchor Jon Sheinman who was WPBF’s main anchor form 1998 until recently. I don’t know why or when he left but it appears that it was rather abrupt.
