Lynn Gordon’s Charges Dropped

1

Felony drug charges for former WSVN reporter Lynn Gordon have been dropped. The Herald’s Joan Fleischman in her latest column reports the cop who arrested Gordon has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery and prosecutors are reducing or dropping charges in many of his cases. He has resigned from BSO awaiting arraignment.

Lynn Gordon left WSVN sometime in 2006, was pulled over in November 2007 for improper turn on a red light and subsequently arrested and charged with felony drug possession, including prescription drugs for which her lawyer says she had prescription, DUI and speeding.

She told The Herald she has gotten her life back on track and has stayed sober. She even ran in the Big Sur International marathon on April 26. Gordon told Fleischman she’d love to return to TV news, currently she works in marketing and was also the media campaign coordinator for Fort Lauderdale mayor candidate Dean Trantalis.

  1. Good for Lynn — Somebody should snatch her up RIGHT NOW and put her on the air. She’s a DAMN good, local reporter… one of the best in the nation… ATTN: SOUTH FLORIDA NEWS DIRECTORS: Hire this woman ASAP — you’ll be glad you did… and sorry when she’s the lead reporter on the competition… not to mention, you can get her at a bargain, but only if you act now — and no, I am not her agent…. I don’t even know her… just a longtime 7news fan.
