  1. Wow. It didn’t seem so long ago that Chris Clausen and Don LaFontaine passed away. Indeed a sad way to die. RIP Brian, and my condolences to his family.

  2. OMG, that comes as a big surprise to me. I wonder who has replaced him. I wouldn’t mind a woman. BTW, KPHO and KYW in Phoenix and Philly, respectively also now have to find a new voice.

  3. He also did the voice overs for WTVX and WTCN in West Palm Beach, and continued to do so after CBS sold the stations. So truly ALL of South Florida will be missing him, not just Broward and Miami.

  4. I’m shocked to hear about this. It’s such a shame to lose a man of Brian’s caliber. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and his family. RIP, Brian. You will be missed.

  5. Brian will be missed in Pa as well. He was the voice over for WRTS – Star 104 (chr) in Erie, Pa. I am in the radio business and I have to admit that Brian has one of the most phonomenal voices that I have ever heard. Brian also used to do voice over in Erie about 11 or 12 years ago on WJET – Jet Fm 102 (chr), that station has changed formats though numerous times. But Brian is still and will always be remembered in Erie Pa.
    BRIAN IS A LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!
