WSFL is holding auditions for their annual Black History Month campaign “Free To Be Heard.” Every February during Black History Month, WSFL runs two minute bits during the commercials having young African Americans speaking poetry about they’re history, culture, or struggles.
Here’s a bit from last year:
“Have you been inspired by greatness… by stories of self sacrifice and compassion? Put it in verse and join us for our open casting call at Nova Southeastern University. You could be apart of this Emmy award winning Black History Month campaign.”
The casting call is January 16th at NSU.
mmmm… what rhymes with bankruptcy?
