Oralia Ortega who freelanced at WSVN as a reporter will be trading South Florida sunshine for El Paso, Texas.
She was hired as an anchor at KTSM, the NBC affiliate for the El Paso, TX area. Ortega will anchor that station’s 5, 6 and 10pm newscasts and also report.
She graduated Florida International University, interned for Deco Drive, was a writer for Today in Florida, anchored the morning newscast at KPAX, worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at KTLV, ABC affiliate in Tyler, TX

She was terrible! I cannot remember one good story she did that impacted me or made me feel like she cared. She was just another girl who wanted to be a TV News personality. She only cared about how big her hair was or that her cake makeup wasn’t smeared. Good bye and hopefully you make more of an impact in Texas.

This isn’t just about Oralia. Many people on this blog have a strong tendency to post cruel comments about people who are progressing in their careers. Oralia obviously did something right. She is anchoring in El Paso, while haters like Julian Gonzalez spend their time posting pointless comments. Get a life. Oralia. Good job! Haters will always exist. Oralia is a great reporter she brought more sunshine to the SunCity, she is very professional and she is so beautiful I love her glossy lips and sweet voice.
I have not missed any news since she started working here on KTSM Channel 9 here in EL PASO TX. I hope she is here to stay. Can’t wait to meet her in person.
