Tribune announced on Wednesday they are moving WSFL’s “broadcast and interactive operations” in the main Sun Sentinel building in Fort Lauderdale.
Sun Sentinel’s president and publisher Howard Greenberg becomes the station’s general manager, and Allyson Meyers will be the station’s manager. She was most recently the GM at WCWJ the CW affiliate in Jacksonville and before that general sales manager at WSFL from 2004 to 2007.
Tribune president Ed Wilson said the following in his memo:
…It will give us the chance to develop new content, programming and sales opportunities in such areas as fashion, food, travel, entertainment and lifestyle.

South Florida’s leading source for news and information, the Sun-Sentinel, will serve as a new and innovative content engine for WSFL’s on-air and online programming.
WTVJ currently produces and airs a newscast for Tribune, the CW News 10, from their studio in Miramar.
