Several people emailed us saying word on the street among reporters the past several days is that Brian Andrews was fired or left WFOR.
Joan Fleischman’s column from yesterday’s Miami Herald confirms it. Brian Andrews has left WFOR two months after signing another 3-year contract with them. He’s selling everything and moving to Bogota, Columbia!
He will take up Spanish lessons and freelance before looking for a more serious job. His last day at WFOR is November 28.

Brian Andrews is one of the hardest working reporters I have ever seen. He is a great story teller. I will miss his tenacious reporting. Best wishes, Brian, Adios amigo.
He also has been known for making up facts to embellish a story.

That’s why he’s one of the highest paid reporters in the Miami market.
