NBC6 is adding another member to its team. DeMarco Morgan is joining WTVJ as the new anchor of the weekend edition of ‘Today In South Florida’ and he will also report during the week for the evening and late news. He’s currently at WISN, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee also anchoring the weekend morning news and reporting.
Morgan may be familiar to some outside of the Milwaukee market, he is the spokesperson for the United Negro College Fund and he seems to be heavily involved with the community – from the YMCA, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and American Cancer Society Sankofa Project to serving on several Milwaukee community boards.
Look for him on NBC6 starting August 20th.

My weekend mornings won’t be the same without you and Portia, DeMarco. I really enjoyed watching you two. Good Luck in Florida.
Like everyone else, I’ve seen many TV personalities come and go. However, DeMarco leaving Milwaukee was a hard pill to swallow for me. I can only imagine how Portia Young took it. Florida you have gained a good man. We miss him here.
