Damn time flies, I just noticed I haven’t posted anything for 2 weeks. Been busy with my other sites, I bit more than I can chew
So here’s a quick run down.
WFOR:
Art Barron may be leaving WFOR. His resume tape was seen on Media Line
Shannon Hori, a Dallas anchor, is rumored to be one of the anchors that may replace Maggie Rodriguez
The Class of CBS4 – CBS4 anchors and reporters show off their yearbook photos, get embarassed 😀
WSVN:
Jonathan Novack may be leaving. A tipster says word around the station is Vivian Gonzalez has been given his job, and indeed viewers have written in to say she has been on the morning newscasts for the past several weekends. The tipster also adds Vivian Gonzalez had her head-shots taken recently for the website.
WPLG:

Yes, we all know you are referring to Megan Glaros and her latest title…sexiest local news person. And she calls herself a meteorologist. How credible is that? C’mon!
I guess I’m just an old fuddy duddy, but I find it very hard to take seriously any newscaster/weather forecaster/ traffic/general assignment reporter whose other job involves doing the bump & grind in a skimpy outfit. Not that there is anything wrong with being a Dolphin cheerleader; considering the Dolphins level of play the past few years, the cheerleaders may be one of the highlights of the season. It’s just that I’d like to see a higher level of professionalism.
You must be a fuddy duddy. If you take the time to look at the Dolphin Cheerleader website you will find most of the women are professionals as well. There are doctors, lawyers, policewomen, psychologist and the students in school have professional career goals. It wouldn’t change your mind to go to a doctor if you knew she was a Dolphin Cheerleader so why would it be any different for the TV station you watch. Quit living in the past. Where does it say that you have to be old and ugly to report the news. You can be young and gorgeous and be more professional than some of you people. Who are you to say there isn’t professionalism.
Being an NFL Cheerleader is impressive, almost as impressive as working in the top 16th market. As far as a higher level of professionalism, the only people who seem to care about professionalism is people in television who are jealous. I imagine the fans don’t care what the person does for a job. Not only do we have a Dolphins cheerleader working in Miami, Megan Glaros was a Colts cheerleader, Aubrey Aquino who works for Deco Drive cheered in the NFL.
I agree. I would definately like to see more newscasters in less clothes. Especially Vanessa Ruiz! She is soo hot. Bring on the bathing suits and short skirts.
