WFOR will produce what is the first, and so far only televised debate in the race for Florida Governor. Channel 4 will together with Leadership Florida and the Florida Press Association to produce the debate. CBS 4 news anchor Elliott Rodriguez will serve as the moderator of the debate and joining him will be a panel with Florida journalists who will ask the candidates questions.
The one-hour debate titled “Decision 2014: Before You Vote” will air October 15 from 7 to 8pm on WFOR, and in Palm Beach County exclusively on WPBF commercial free. Nationally the debate will air on C-SPAN.
