What better way to celebrate the Kentucky Derby than by having several local media members run 100 yards on a sand track for charity? WSVN anchor Diana Diaz, Julie Druda from WPLG, WTVJ anchor Trina Robinson, and several radio personalities participated in the race. Diana Diaz won first place among women, while Steve Goldstein from WINZ 940AM won in the men category.
This is Diana Diaz’s second win a row. She won that race last year as well beating Shannon Hori from WFOR, Shiri Spear from WTVJ, and Julie Guy from 97.3 The Coast who competed this year as well. In last year’s race Jason Martinez from WPLG won in the men category.

The Calder Media Foot Race raises money for charity and each contestant got a $2500 donation from Calder toward their favorite charity. Diana Diaz competed for His House Children’s Home charity.

  1. diana is the hottest woman on tv….she can catch me anytime….would love to be waiting at the finish line for her.

    • I’m sure her husband would like to hear this but she does look much better without all of the makeup they have plastered on her in the mornings on Channel 7.
