iPads for Facebook likes? How about money for watching TV?
WTVJ are giving away $600 every weekday to viewers who watch ‘NBC 6 South Florida Today’. Viewers must first like the station’s Facebook page and watch the morning newscast between 6:30am and 7am for a special keyword then enter it in order to win the cash prize.
And yes, November sweeps start tomorrow October 25.
It used to be in the old days or the good old days of TV news that if you offered a contest during sweeps, your ratings book didn’t count. November is a ratings book. What’s happening here. I guess we should expect WTVJ to have to bribe people.
