WTVJ bosses have picked Chad Matthews to be the station’s assistant news director. Matthews comes from WABC where currently he’s senior executive producer for Eyewitness News and that newscast ended its sweeps period winning nearly every time slot except the 4pm and 5pm
According to his twitter account, he commutes between NYC and Miami Beach
