Lloyd Bucher has been named WPTV station manager, a newly created position to help with the day-to-day operations of the station after general manager Steve Wasserman became one of three E.W. Scripps divisional managers.
Bucher was the General Sales manager at WPLG from 2005 until 2007 when he moved to WPTV as a director of sales.
According to the press release Steve Wasserman will continue as WPTV general manager.
