WPLG reporter Michael Putney knocked on the door of a local politician’s house to ask a question. Instead he got big jug of water thrown in his face. Granted, that note on the door warned people this would happen.

Lucky, it could’ve been worse. Should have respected the sign to be on the safe side..
He was on private property and was warned. Just because you have a microphone and cameraman in tow doesn’t mean you can trample on other people’s rights. Do it and be ready to pay the consequences. A nice lesson for others to learn from.
