Here’s how a silly argument can land you in jail. Broward-Palmbeach Times reports Jason Proskurin, a part time cameraman for WPTV, is facing battery charges after his girlfriend alleged he slapped her during an argument they had early this morning.
The argument according to her was about a light she turned off in the kitchen. Proskurin says it was about her nagging him about his unhealthy cereal and that she allegedly hit him on the head with one of his work boots then kept hitting the car with it as he was leaving for the station.
Proksurin was released from jail but he still faces one count of battery.
