Today WPLG launched mobile news apps for iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices. They’re the last station to offer viewers a free app, and the second after WSVN to offer an app on multiple platforms.
The WPLG apps are made by LSN Inc., a company which specializes in creating apps for local TV stations, which means that they along with WSVN and WPBF and WPEC in Palm Beach County will have nearly identical looking apps save for logos and colors.
The WPLG apps are available for download right now at the Apple Appstore, Android Market and Blackberry market
