Did you bother to look at the stories they posted online before you commented? All of those people popping corks to celebrate look like they are right here in Miami. Snark probably knows they have 9 people, including part timers, working on their website. No matter what you think of the website or of WFOR, that seems a pretty good commitment.

I like a place having a real staff to address their web site needs. But something tells me executives in New York might see nine paychecks and think there’s no need for that kind of commitment at each and every CBS owned station.
Do the math.
If every station CBS owns had nine people on their web staff, what would that grand total be?
CBS looks down the street and sees what NBC is already doing. Nope, not as good covering local news but good enough to still have a web presence.
Bean counters rule these days. That’s not a good thing but it is the real world. Especially at CBS.
The CBS local sites are farrrr superior to the NBC local sites.
