WFOR to Get New Set and HD in Two Weeks

WFOR

WFOR began broadcasting from a temporary set today, in order to make way for their new HD ready set. SFLTV.com told you first two weeks ago that WFOR would start to broadcast in HD come early 2010 (in preparation for the Superbowl); this would put them right on track to do so. WFOR is the only English-speaking station in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market yet to convert to High Definition broadcasting. Expect a new graphics  set as well as music to go along with their transition.

    Mitchell’s Closet NEWSROOM

    LOL

  2. WTVJ definetly needs a whole new set. They just went the cheap route in just changing the main background behind the anchors. It still makes it look dull, old, and cheap. Looking forward into seeing CBS4 brand new set. Has any1 notice that over the years CBS4 has had more set changes than any other tv stations in recent years?
They had the orginal set in the late 90’s and in the early 2000’s u had a set change and finally in 2007 and now 2010. WOW and look @ WTVJ had the same set since July of 2000. LMAO a complete mess at NBC 6!

  3. With all that said, WFOR has always had the lighter set. I also cant wait to see what they will come with next. I was amazed to see the tiny space they fit the set in. It doesnt look that large on tv but once you go in the studio you realise the it is much smaller than it seems.
