Tipsters are telling us that a former WFOR photog was arrested on Sunday at the station for allegedly taking off with a $6,000 tripod. We’re told he was recently let go from WFOR and isn’t allowed to enter the station’s offices but he still managed to get in somehow. I guess someone figured out the tripod was missing and they knew who took it because he allegedly agreed to bring it back to the station, and that’s when cops arrested him.
Dade county court records show he was arrested on 5/16 on two charges, grand theft, which is a third degree felony, and burglary which is also a felony. Arraignment hearing is scheduled for June 15, 2010 and he is out on a $5,000 bond.
What’s sad is that the so called “Managers” @ WFOR never said a thing to employees about this. Is it safe to work at WFOR???
Let me know if you need bail money Diego.
Why was this photog let go in the first place?
The CBS4 I-Team is looking into this matter!!!!!
WHAT IS THE PHOTOGS NAME?
