Steve Litz, the current WTVJ evening reporter (and former WTVJ “YOH; freelance” employee) has apparently been tapped to replace Nick Bogert as NBC6’s political reporter, according to our sources. Bogert retired from WTVJ (and TV) earlier last week.

aaahhhhh so this explains his swap with Claudia DoCampo from mornings to evenings.
Good luck to him – he seems to be a decent reporter, although I think his delivery is a little flat.
Nobody can replace Nick Bogert, he is an institution in South Florida reporting and a class act.
He will be sorely missed and can not be replaced.
So who is going to be taking Steve Litz’s spot as evening reporter? Or is Steve going to be continuing to do that in addition to taking on the additional responsibilities of Nick Bogert’s political reporting?
well, Adam Kuperstein (now a hybrid sports/general assignment reporter) did the lead story on South Florida Tonight on Monday – the story about the university police snafu at UM… so my guess is they won’t replace him – he’ll probably still do some general assignment and we’ll just see more of the likes of Sharon Lawson, Ari Odzer and even Adam! Maybe Joe Rose will start covering murders?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
