I’ve come across Julia Yarbough’s blog. The NBC6 anchor blogs fairly regally about.. well.. “normal” issues we all may come across. Her blog gives us a rare insight to what anchors are like off camera, and i like her. My sources have told me she’s a nice person, and her blog seems to confirm it. In one of her recent entries, she talks about being a “single news anchor.” In her 2009 resolution pledge, she posted this:
“I pledge to request company holidays “off”. Just because you’re single doesn’t mean you have to be the one working holidays, staying late, working weekends, etc. Your circle of friends “is” your family and they are just as important to spend time with!”
