WFOR’s former boss Shannon High-Bassalik is joining MSNBC as managing editor of live news programming and breaking newscoverage. She will be assisting new MSNBC GM Phil Griffin who replaces Dan Abrams.

  1. Sure, why not? She left WFOR in great shape;) typical MSNBC move…NBC would have been better off poaching Maggie Rodriguez who continues to shine on CBS Saturday Early Show. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Maggie and Lonnie Quinn on the weekday Early Show.

    I was never a huge Maggie fan, but she has found her niche in NY.
