I was 12 years old when I had a science homework to do which has to do with meteorology. I called all the local stations and only 1 person was able to get to answer the phone. Somehow I called Channel 10 and ended up getting Don on the line. I asked him all my homework questions and he actually did the work for me and answered each and everyone of those questions. Not expecting him to help. He did. By the time we were on the last question he was trying to get me off the phone in order to on the air. Since that say of course he left an impression but also further opened my eyes and thanks to him I will forever know what a cumulonimbus cloud is.
Thanks Don and Good Luck.
The only weatherman down here that was always calm cool and collected in the eye of the hurricane. Thanks Don!!
Just like with Brian Andrews, local TV will never be the same again.
ahhh, there is a bit of a difference. brian makes things up. don doesn’t
Yes, I agree Don u will be missed. Althouh I have only lived down here 5years Don u are by far the best.We will all miss u n south Florida will not be same without u. I hope u enjoy your retirement n allways know all of us Love you.
Well said, BUT if you were to go to YouTube and type in WPLG and 1979, you’ll be able to see a promo with a much younger Don Noe. It rocks.
Not only was he a great Weather Guy he was also a great mean. He served at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church ministering to the sick including my grandparents when their health started to fail. I knew him from those experiences and as a favor to me he came out to my school (W.R. Thomas Jr. High) as a guest speaker. Great guy!

Even though it’s been more than 10years since Don left tv I still miss him. No one has been able to fill his shoes. I live in the Bahamas and watch Florida tv. Don loved the Bahamas and often included us in his forecast which was wonderful. Thank you Don!
