According to one insider, the Newsdesk is finally getting some love. It’s new look is debuting probably Monday or sometime next week.
If they keep to the original plan it should be very blue , with the dotted mesh background, some red vertical stripes, a big flat panel on the wall surrounded by smaller LCD tvs, reflective top, and 3 rows of blue neon lights on the side like they have behind the anchor desk.

no they haven’t finished it yet. From what I could see on the wide shots during newscasts it’s going to probably look like the weather center, they have changed the design. At least it looks that way from the distance
design wasn’t changed that drastically…just more silver than blue now. it has a similar theme to the weather center with bars and those neon-trimmed columns but much less blue than before.
it’s got a mammoth plasma screen that swivels and they’re working on different shots from various parts of the desk…some of the lightning needs to be worked on and the shots finalized, but its just about ready to go.
I bet its gunna look great 🙂
