It broke. The video is gone, only audio and there’s a 4:3 screen with a beep showing up every few seconds
umm…. so im watchin 7 news at 11 and It was the final wheather segment and Phil goes thats your 7 on 7 and there was also a whole bunch of other voices with him.. Is that all of the mets doing it together. or was it belksy and craig just screwing around???
They do that everynight during 7 at 11 atleast when craig is there.
Ughhh… I hate stretched. It looks so bad… but those grey bars bothered me too. I think they should leave black bars like 10 used to have or the blue HD bars like on 6.
…or even better… a 16:9 broadcast 🙂
WSVN-DT’s local 4:3 content is back to normal now (8:45am 7/18), but I’ll bet they go back to the ridiculous anamorphic stretch (like WPLG-DT has) sooner or later.
This market’s digital TV is the pits…

to answer michael’s question…the extra voices that say “and thats your 7 on 7” is one of the sports guys as they wait next to the green wall to do sports..started by steve shapiro shortly after phil started using that line.
