One of the local insiders says 7’s Nichelle King has been spotted at the other 7News up in Boston, WHDH. No details yet, but WHDH recently lost 2 long-timers – weekend anchor Amy Johnston who retired from news, and reporter Teri Adler. Nichelle has been doing lots of anchoring lately on WSVN but I think if she does indeed go to Boston she’ll be replacing Teri Adler and move up to anchoring the weekends
Also, new Today in Florida reporter Luanne Sorrel begins next week on 7
I like Nichelle, I hope she doesn’t go anywhere. My husband would be DEVASTATED.
I hope the statements are true. Whether I’m happy or devastated doesn’t matter. Whether Nichelle is happy or devastated does. King, Craig Stevens and Dianne Fernandez had reports in the past for WHDH. Dan Hausle who also did time for WSVN relocated to ‘HDH, and hasn’t looked back. Though it would be nice to have her up here (and I hope she comes), it’s Nichelle’s decision. I’ll be happy for her anyhow.:-D Good Luck, Nichelle.
