  1. Why is it WTVJ has so many nomination bu they suck? Seems like they have good talents over there. SOmething needs to be done at WSVN. I think only two nominations and they dont even count.

  2. Jamboii: You are correct 6 has talent. They also have people who have many years connected with this market. While some of the people at 7 have many years (Cafiero) most seem to be the looker of the day.

They get experiene and then they go. – or they are let go.

  3. 7 people don’t enter the emmys very much… management doesn’t encourage them… so the deadline comes and goes and people often don’t notice… 4 and 6 really push their people to enter… even though the people themselves (not the stations) pay the entry fee… that’s pretty much the reason…

  4. I saw SANTIAGO’S piece from Cambodia “Children For Sale”– absolutely Emmy worthy. I’m shocked not to see more nominations for that piece–beautifully shot, edited and written. Not your typical local news story.

  5. I dont know why tvj got so many nominations! wfor got a couple of nominations and they arent that good either. I cant believe that 7 only got 2 nominations. whats wrong with the people who nominated the stuff…they suck

  6. Ch 6 deserves all the awards they get. Although NBC’s primetime scheduale has lacked recently, NBC 6 is still to me the best and most reliable news source in S. Fl. WFOR comes in 2nd to me but come on, look at all the drastic changes WPLG has made, they’re desperate and now there getting rid of their 5 PM show, that does not show dedikcation to the community, thats something a station needs. And if you watch channel 7 without throwing up, its a mracle. Everything is so dramatized, so not nessacary and can often decieve viewers.

  7. They pay to be nominated thats the bottom line……Almost anyone can be nominated for one of these adwards….i should know i have won 3 a few years ago…
