Looks like 7 is starting to push new graphics out. “Help Me Howard” has gotten a re-do, from all red to almost all blue and now they call it “Help Me howard with Patrick Frasier”

I dont like Parick Frasier, too boring. He’s out of place at 7. He should probably go to Channel 6.
Yeah I’ve noticed a change in the weather graphics too. It seems like stations change their weather grapics before anything else. WTVJ did the same thing a couple years ago. In fact, when WSVN changed to the current graphics pkg a few years ago, it was snuck in during promos and such and you noticed a new font here and there and then all of a sudden, there were the new graphics!
i guarantee you its not intentional…they just put them out as they make them…yes WSVN is finally re-doing their gfx look, but they’re not “slipping” them in during the promo’s & wx…just using them as they make them.
that’s what they previously did, first propped the red background, then the L3 that looks like a comet shooting from one side, etc..
Who’s doing the gfx now that Troy is gone? I think Vilma Ramos is pretty good, hope they’re letting her do it, because the first “You know when it’s 7News” promos looked like someone made them in Powerpoint.
