I thought they said they’ll provide coverage without annoying us! Someone over there running the show must have had a fast change of heart it seems opting for hype and rehashing of the same information every 15 minutes. Do they even know we actually have power and home AND the internets? Guess not
And why oh why are Don Noe and Trent Aric on at the same time, taking turns at the chroma wall, both telling us in the span of 2 minutes the hurricane is near the Yucatan and how they don’t know where exactly is going? Doesn’t make sense at all. From 8pm to 8:30pm they’ve repeated the same information at 3 times already.
At least Lost and Invasion are on. 11pm newscast tonight will be 1hour long and the morning show will begin an hour earlier at 4am.
Im keeping the TV off the local stations till Friday or Saturday, too much hype 🙄

Is it me or does it seem a little early for all the stations to be covering the storm at this magnitude. I mean how much more can they say right now? The hurricane isn’t even close to south Florida yet. Landfall is more than 3 days out. They must be repeating the same thing over and over and over. I wouldn’t begin watching that coverage until the hurricane is within 36-48 hrs of landfall. By the way when is that Deco video going up? I’m dying to see it.

I tad bit too early. For real, why are Trent and Don alternating ever two minutes. It is so silly. I guess its their way of prepping the predecessor putting him right in the spotlight and at the same time showing the incumbent who is supposed to be more experience. It is surely annoying. I am watching for the new guy. He is on now. I like him. He seems a bit short though. And why would they send him “right in the middle

this is why the viewers pay for cable television…. people dont want to watch the same thing over and over…. people get tired of watching storm coverage because the news does and says the same thing….. the storm isnt here yet, days away and they keep hammering the same nail (info) into our brains…. its so easy to click to another station and go to cable…. local people get a clue…. viewers dont want their television shows preempted for this…..
6 kept coming on when I was trying to watch something today.
I like to watch the news, and know whats going on… but when you’re watching a show and it cuts to a hurricane update where they tell you thins that really could have waited 15 minutes until the show ends just gets me mad…..
