November sweeps are over and the winner has been declared to be WFOR. They finished first at noon, 5pm, 5;30pm, 6pm and 11pm, prime-time, and sign-on-to-sign off.
UPN33 on the other hand won 3rd place by having a strong prime-time programming.
In the Monday to Sunday 6pm newscast WFOR was number one, followed by WPLG, WSVN at third and WTVJ a distant 4th place. The 11pm news were led by WFOR, WTVJ, WPLG, and WSVN. WSVN won the 10pm – 11pm newscast.
WSVN is number one in the mornings.

West Palm Beach market remains the same – WPTV is the leader locally even though CBS was the leader in prime-time programing nationwide, proving that lead-ins don’t always work. WPEC ranked second, and WPBF in third place. WPEC and WPBF saw a 4% ratings growth at 11pm, while WPTV lost 10% compared with a year ago.
